I have a few things to say to you. First of all, you have no right to go around giving advice to anyone, least of all your little sister who is a lot more sociable and adept at navigating social settings than you. Second of all, how is J——— still on your mind from time to time?? I used to forget about him the moment he was out of my immediate line of vision, now I can’t help occasionally- just occasionally mind you, not even on a daily basis- wondering if he’s ever thinking about me. Although I doubt it. That boy is a cold, cold fish. (not unlike yourself…) Lastly, as further proof of your unsociability, why why why do you handle invites so awkwardly. Could you not have messaged R——- first and asked her if you could invite J— before actually inviting her? Should I have just not invited her? But then surely she’d feel left out. Or should I have been just very subtle about the fact I was even meeting R——- and not mentioned names when J— asked me what I was doing? But then, wouldn’t that be weird since we’re all, what’s the word, mutual (I was thinking mental) friends? You are such an adroit failure at navigating relationships.
